Portfolio Images

For these set of photos, my theme remains the same with a couple of acceptions. My overall theme is nature; taking pictures in outdoor areas however, there are other pictures I wanted to include which were taken indoors. The acception I made to these photos taken inside was that the object drawn was something of nature; animals are nature-related things to draw/ take pictures of and meditating is definitely something related to nature/ natural practices. Also along the way to this portfolio I decided to make this project more my own style and added color to it, an example is the picture of the phone.

 Portfolio Draft #2

For my portfolio, I decided to have a theme for all my images; the outdoors. As you can tell, in all five of these pictures, the background is the outdoors. The hardest part of this project was sizing the drawings to look realistic in the photos but I feel like I've gotten better at it which is shown in this series of photos.

Portfolio Draft 1

I chose these photos because i feel like they follow Ben Hiene's footsteps most, I looked for the ones which seemed to fit into the background/surroundng. I had a hard time proportioning all of them to look realistic but in the end I think I did a good job with them.

So for these set of photos, just like the others, I didn't have a set theme. I just looked for areas which would look cool with a drawing added to it in the image. I tried to choose scenery outside for the most but it was harder to proportion the drawings.

I didn't have a set theme for this batch but i just chose objects which i thought would looked cool in a photo using the pencil vs camera concept.

In following the footsteps of Ben Heine, I've decided to follow his pencil vs camera concept. For this idea he incorporates drawings in his photography. Even though most of the images include drawings of dogs, I had no specific theme in mind for this set of images.

Through these photos, I am trying to show honesty through Angel's facial expressions. I asked her a series of relatable and personal questions. These questions included those which made her think back to a certain time in her life (reminding her of the emotions she was feeling then),  some made her think about how she would feel in specific situations and others were about her life outside of school which were more personal.
